You must create a Microsoft SQL Server login and assign BlackBerry Configuration Database permissions so that the BlackBerry Mobile Voice System can connect to and update the data in the BlackBerry Configuration Database.

1. In the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, expand Security.
2. Right-click Logins. Click New User.
3. In the Login name field, type the name of the Windows domain user account that you created to install the BlackBerry MVS software (for example, MVSAdmin).
4. In the Default database name drop-down list, click the name of the BlackBerry Configuration Database.
5. In the left pane, click User Mapping and select the name of the BlackBerry Configuration Database.
6. In the Database role membership section, select the db_owner check box.
7. Click OK.
