The BlackBerry Pushcast Player is located on devices and permits BlackBerry Pushcast Player users to receive and open content directly on their BlackBerry devices. In the BlackBerry Pushcast Player, BlackBerry Pushcast Player users can view and monitor the progress of content.

You can create content in the BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Plug-in for Microsoft® PowerPoint® and publish and send the content directly to the BlackBerry Pushcast Player on devices. Authors can also assign content to BlackBerry Pushcast Player users using the BlackBerry Pushcast Software and send the content to devices.

BlackBerry Pushcast Plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint

This component opens in Microsoft PowerPoint. You can use the BlackBerry Pushcast Plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint to create, publish, and send content to the BlackBerry Pushcast Player on devices. The BlackBerry Pushcast Plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint permits you to add audio and videos that convert to a format that the devices can read.

BlackBerry Pushcast Desktop Player

Using the BlackBerry Pushcast Software, you can send content to the BlackBerry Pushcast Desktop Player.

In the BlackBerry Pushcast Desktop Player, BlackBerry Pushcast Desktop Player users can view and manage content. The content that BlackBerry Pushcast Desktop Player users received most recently is displayed at the top of the content list in the BlackBerry Pushcast Desktop Player. Users can view the date and time when they received the content, the author that sent the content, and the delivery status for content that an author sent to the BlackBerry Pushcast Player.

When BlackBerry Pushcast Desktop Player users open content, a new window opens in the BlackBerry Pushcast Desktop Player. When BlackBerry Pushcast Desktop Player users remove content from the BlackBerry Pushcast Desktop Player, the BlackBerry Pushcast Software removes the content from the content list.
