When authors use the BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Software to send content to BlackBerry Pushcast Software users, the BlackBerry Pushcast Software uses a number of security features to protect the content that it sends to the users' BlackBerry devices. Authors can choose to send content to the BlackBerry Pushcast Player, the BlackBerry Pushcast Desktop Player, or both. The BlackBerry Pushcast Software sends the instructions for downloading the content to the users in an encrypted email message.
