Upgrade the BlackBerry Java Plug-in by using the BlackBerry update site

Before you begin:

You must have Eclipse and the BlackBerry Java Plug-in for Eclipse already installed on your computer. You must specify the BlackBerry update site in Eclipse. To learn how to specify the update site see "Specify the BlackBerry update site". To learn how to activate new version detection, see "Detect new versions of the BlackBerry Java Plug-in for Eclipse".

  1. On the Help menu, click Install New Software.
  2. In the Work with drop-down list, click the BlackBerry update site.
  3. In the Available Software dialog box, select the BlackBerry Java Plug-in.
  4. Click Next.
  5. In the Install Details dialog box, click BlackBerry Java Plug-in.
  6. Click Next.
  7. If the Selection Needed dialog box appears, select the certificates that you want to trust, and click OK.
  8. In the Review Licenses dialog box, accept or decline the license agreement.
  9. Click Finish.
  10. Click Yes to restart Eclipse.
