The BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Software includes several components and applications that authors can use to create, manage, and send mobile content to computers or BlackBerry® devices. BlackBerry Pushcast Software users that you assign to the appropriate role and permissions can manage other users by assigning the users to roles and groups, enrolling the users in content, and checking the completion status for the content that they enroll users in.

Authors can use the BlackBerry Pushcast Software to create content that includes videos, audio, and pictures. Authors can send content to the BlackBerry Pushcast Player that is located on the devices or to the BlackBerry Pushcast Desktop Player that is located on computers. BlackBerry Pushcast Player users can view and save content on their devices by downloading the content when they are in a wireless coverage area and open the content when they are offline.
