Make sure that you have the name of the host code for the BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Software that you want to synchronize with the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server. You can find the host code at the end of the web address that you use to log in to the BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Console. For example, in the following web address, rim is the host code: https://www.example.com/rim.

1. Open the folder where you saved the files for the BlackBerry Pushcast Software synchronization service.
2. Double-click the ChalkMedia.UserLoadService.ConfigurationTool.exe file.
3. On the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server Resource Kit tab, in the BlackBerry Enterprise Server Resource Kit server network address field, type the IP address for the computer that you installed the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server Resource Kit on.
4. In the Client password field, type the password that you created when you installed the BlackBerry Enterprise Server Resource Kit.
5. In the Local tool path field, type the path to the location where you installed the BlackBerry Enterprise Server Resource Kit, or click Browse and navigate to where you installed the BlackBerry Enterprise Server Resource Kit.
6. In the Output path field, delete Program Files\Research In Motion\BUS\output.csv and type a folder name with no spaces.
7. On the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server tab, in the Service name for theBlackBerry Enterprise Server field, type the name of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server that you can use to connect to the BlackBerry Pushcast Software synchronization service.
8. To verify that you can connect to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, click Test connection.
9. On the BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Software tab, in the BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Software server domain field, type the domain name for the computer that hosts the BlackBerry Pushcast Software that you can synchronize with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server user accounts.
10. In the Host code field, type the host code of the BlackBerry Pushcast Software that you can synchronize with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
11. In the User name field, type the user name for the administrator account that has permission to access the BlackBerry Pushcast Software.
12. In the Password field, type the password for the BlackBerry Pushcast Software administrator account.
13. Select the Permit theBlackBerry Pushcast Software synchronization service to perform updates for existing user accounts check box.
14. To verify that you can connect to the BlackBerry Pushcast Software, click Test connection.
15. On the BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Softwaresynchronization service tab, in the Polling interval section, click the arrow to specify the amount of time that the BlackBerry Pushcast Software synchronization service waits before it retries to synchronize with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. The default value is 10 minutes.
16. In the Connection retry interval section, click the arrow icons to specify the amount of time the BlackBerry Pushcast Software synchronization service waits before it retries to connect to the BlackBerry Pushcast Software. The default value is 30 seconds.
17. Click Browse and navigate to where you saved the BlackBerry Pushcast Software synchronization service files to access the log file directory you created for the BlackBerry Pushcast Software synchronization service.
18. In the Data source field, type the name of the Microsoft® SQL Server® that hosts the database for the BlackBerry Pushcast Software synchronization service.
19. In the Initial catalogue field, type the name of the database that you created for the BlackBerry Pushcast Software synchronization service.
20. In the User name field, type the user name for the administrator account that can access the database.
21. In the Password field, type the password for the user name that has permission to access the database.
22. To verify that you can connect the database with the BlackBerry Pushcast Software synchronization service, click Test connection.
23. Click Apply.
24. Click Close.
25. When a prompt appears, click Yes.
