Chalk Pushcast Software system roles

You can create Chalk™ Pushcast™ Software system roles so that you can control who can access information and specific sections in the Chalk Pushcast Software and the Chalk Pushcast Software components. You can add features to a role using the Chalk Pushcast Software.

System role

Description

Administrator

Chalk Pushcast Software users that you assign to the Administrator role can access everything in the Chalk Pushcast Software. They can create, change, and delete content, content categories, digital assets, reports, users, custom roles, groups, and manage user enrollment.

Author

Users that you assign to the Author role can create, change, and delete content and content categories.

Chalk Pushcast Software users that you assign to the Author role can access content that you assigned to the them and change their profile information.

Manager

User that you assign to the Manager role can manage settings, update user enrollment in content, assign content to specific users and groups, and run reports.

Chalk Pushcast Software users that you assign to the Manager role can access enrollment and reporting.

Content recipient

Users that you assign to the Content recipient role can view and enroll in content. They can manage their user profile and UI settings.

Users that you assign to the Content recipient role cannot access the administration console.

The Chalk Pushcast Software assigns the Content recipient role to each new user automatically.
