Creating text objects
You can create the following two kinds of text objects:
- Simple text objects: Simple text objects are a single line of text.
- Text on a curve: Text-on-curve objects are aligned to an existing path on the workspace. When you create a text-on-curve object, the path object to which the text is aligned becomes part of the text-on-curve object; you can no longer select or modify the path object.

- Create text on a curve
- Edit text in a text object
