Development environment

One of the following development environments:

• BlackBerry Java Plug-in for Eclipse 1.1 or later with the BlackBerry Java SDK 5.0 or later.

• BlackBerry Java Development Environment 5.0 or later with the BlackBerry Email and MDS Services Simulator Package 5.0 or later.

  Download the simulators at http://na.blackberry.com/developers/javaappdev/devtools.jsp.

  Note: This development environment is not available for Windows 7 or Mac OS.

BlackBerry Smartphone Simulator or BlackBerry device

• Any BlackBerry Smartphone Simulator or BlackBerry device that is running BlackBerry Device Software 5.0 or later with BlackBerry App World storefront 3.0 or later.
• The BlackBerry App World storefront 3.1 or later to purchase subscription-based digital goods.
