If you do not associate BlackBerry® devices with a BlackBerry® Enterprise Server in your organization's environment, you can associate the BlackBerry devices with the BlackBerry® Internet Service. The BlackBerry Internet Service is an email and Internet service for BlackBerry devices that is designed to provide BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Software users with automatic delivery for email messages, mobile access to email message attachments, and access to the Internet.

The BlackBerry Internet Service can only access publicly available servers. To access the BlackBerry Pushcast Software, BlackBerry Pushcast Player users must select the BlackBerry Internet Service as their network connection in the BlackBerry Pushcast Player.
