Import user accounts into the BlackBerry Pushcast Software

  1. Open Microsoft® Excel®.
  2. In the upper-left corner of the screen, click the Office Button.
  3. Click Excel Options.
  4. Click Trust Center.
  5. Click Trust Center Settings.
  6. Click Macro Settings.
  7. In the Macro Settings section, select the Enable all macros (not recommended; potentially dangerous code can run) option.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Open the BlackBerry Pushcast Software User Account Import Template document.
  10. Click the Configuration Information sheet.
  11. In the Web Service Settings section, in the WS Base URL row, type the URL for the web services.
  12. In the User name row, type the user name that has administrator permissions to manage users and groups in the BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Software.
  13. In the Password row, type the password.
  14. Click the Groups for User Accounts sheet.
  15. Type the group information for your organization.
  16. To create groups, on the Groups for User Accounts sheet, press ALT+F8.
  17. In the Macro Name list, click ImportGroups.
  18. Click Run.
  19. Click the User Account Information sheet.
  20. Type the user account information for your organization.
  21. To create user accounts, on the User Account Information sheet, press ALT+F8.
  22. In the Macro Name list, click ImportUsers.
  23. Click Run.
