Uninstall the Chalk Pushcast Software or the BlackBerry Pushcast Software from the BlackBerry Pushcast server

Before you begin:

Before you uninstall the Chalk™ Pushcast™ Software or the BlackBerry Pushcast Software, consider backing up the BlackBerry Pushcast Software database and data files. For more information about how to back up the the BlackBerry Pushcast Software database and data files, visite www.blackberry.com/support to read article KB27718.

  1. Perform one of the following tasks:

    Task

    Steps

    Uninstall the Chalk Pushcast Software.

    1. On the Chalk Pushcast server, navigate to each of the following folders and run the uninstall.bat file:
      • \cps\service\cbsupport
      • \cps\service\initiator
      • \cps\service\transcoder
    2. Delete the cps folder and all of the sub-folders.

    Uninstall the BlackBerry Pushcast Software.

    1. On the BlackBerry Pushcast server, navigate to each of the following folders and run the uninstall.bat file:
      • \bps\service\cbsupport
      • \bps\service\initiator
      • \bps\service\transcoder
    2. Delete the bps folder and all of the sub-folders.
  2. On the Microsoft SQL Server, delete the BlackBerry Pushcast Console database. For information about how to delete a database, visit www.microsoft.com to read the article "How to: Delete a Database (SQL Server Management Studio)."
