Users receive the Server Error in <host_name> Application error message when the version number for Microsoft ASP.NET is not 2.0.5.xx.

Possible solution

Users must change the version number for Microsoft ASP.NET to 2.0.5.xx.

1. On the taskbar, click Start > Run.
2. In the Open field, type inetmgr.
3. Click OK.
4. In the left pane, go to Internet Information Services > Web Sites.
5. Right-click the website that you created for the BlackBerry Pushcast Software and click Properties.
6. In the ASP.NET tab, in the ASP.NET version list, select 2.0.5.xx.
7. Click OK.
