This section lists the known issues for Chalk™ Pushcast™ Plug-in for Microsoft® PowerPoint®.

DT978225

If the DPI setting on a user's computer is set to 120, the Publish screen in the Chalk Pushcast Plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint becomes distorted.

Impact: The user cannot use the Publish screen in the Chalk Pushcast Plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint.

Workaround:

  1. Right-click the Desktop.
  2. Select Properties.
  3. On the Settings tab, select Advanced.
  4. In the DPI setting list, click Normal size (96 DPI).

DT978185

If a user inserts media files in content while in the Notes section in Microsoft PowerPoint, the media files do not publish to the Chalk™ Pushcast™ Software.

Impact: Users will not see the media files when they view the content in the Chalk™ Pushcast™ Player or Chalk™ Pushcast™ Desktop Player.

Workaround: Users must change the view to Normal in Microsoft PowerPoint to insert media files and publish content.

DT863810

When administrators install a non-English version of the Chalk Pushcast Plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint, they cannot select a language other than English.

Impact: Administrators cannot install Chalk Pushcast Plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint in a language other than English.

Workaround: None

DT831244

When administrators install the Chalk Pushcast Plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint 2007, the option to install multiple users is not available.

Impact: Administrators cannot install multiple users.

Workaround: None.

DT523988

If a user launches a test or survey in the Chalk Pushcast Plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint, and while it is loading, if the user switches to another application and returns to the Chalk Pushcast Plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint, the main window of Microsoft PowerPoint appears.

Impact: Users might not be able to interact with Microsoft PowerPoint.

Workaround: Users can return to the create test or survey window by pressing the Alt key and then the Tab key until the application is selected.

DT124615

If a non-NTLM authentication is used as the proxy server, when accessing web content from outside the organization's firewall, administrators are unable to publish content on Microsoft PowerPoint.

Impact: Administrators might not be able to publish content in the Chalk Pushcast Plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint.

Workaround: Administrators must publish content from a computer that is not behind a proxy server, or the computer must support NTLM authentication.
