Encryption settings
Encryption settings provide flexibility for media card security. A Chalk™ Pushcast™ Software user who is unfamiliar with media card security might configure the settings incorrectly which might cause the user to question the reliability of media card security.
The Chalk Pushcast Software files that are stored on an encrypted media card are unencrypted when a Chalk Pushcast Software user browses to the Chalk Pushcast Software folder on a BlackBerry device and sends one or more files in an email message from their BlackBerry device to another BlackBerry device.
To prevent potentially malicious users from removing files from the Chalk Pushcast Software folder by attaching them to an email message, you must specify a BlackBerry device password. The BlackBerry device password prevents potentially malicious users from accessing or sending content that is stored on the BlackBerry device to a user who should not receive the content.
