Path behavior properties

Specify a Path behavior to determine the path the object follows when moving from the start position to the end position of the selected segment. You can only apply path behaviour to object properties that involve position, such as Translation, Rotation Center and Scaling.

Path behaviour setting

Definition

Linear

This is the default behavior. This behaviour moves the object along in a straight line between the start position and end position.

Curving

This behavior makes the object follow a curved path. Increase the Curve value option to create a more pronounced curve. High settings create a path that spirals around and into the end position. To reverse the curve direction, select the Start key frame or End key frame button.

Wave

This behavior makes the object follow a wavy path. Period count determines the number of waves in the path. Attenuation determines whether the waves are equal in depth or diminishing. Amplitude determines the overall depth of the waves. To reverse the direction of the waves select the Invert check box.

Circle

This behavior creates a semicircular path for the object. To reverse the direction of the semicircle, select the Invert check box.
