Sending application-specific data
With the BlackBerry Messenger SDK, you can use the BlackBerry Messenger platform to send application-specific data between instances of your application on different BlackBerry devices. A BBM connected application can send data between multiple devices that are sharing the same connection.
For example, in a chess game application, as each player moves a piece on the board, the move must be communicated to the other player, so the UI can be updated to reflect the current state of the chess board. The application can use the BBM SDK to send this data without user intervention.
