Create a project

  1. Open a workspace in Eclipse®.
  2. On the File menu, click New > Java Project.
  3. Type a name for the project and click Finish.
  4. In the Package Explorer pane, expand your project folder.
  5. Right-click the src folder and click New > Class.
  6. Type a package name for the code sample (for example, com.rim.bes.bas.baa.HelloWorld and HelloWorld).
  7. Type a class name for the code sample (for example, HelloWorld).
  8. Click Finish.
  9. Add the Creating your first application code sample to the new class file.
