Users cannot import inactive users into the BlackBerry Pushcast Software using the BlackBerry Pushcast Software User Account Import Template for Microsoft® PowerPoint®.
Impact: Users will not be able to view inactive users in the BlackBerry Pushcast Console.
Workaround: Users can make inactive users active so they can import the users into the BlackBerry Pushcast Software and then after the users are imported, they can make the users inactive again.

When users install the BlackBerry Pushcast Software, an icon for the BlackBerry Pushcast Software might not display on the taskbar on a computer.
Impact: Users cannot access the BlackBerry Pushcast Software installation wizard again if they minimize the window or open another application.
Workaround: When installing the BlackBerry Pushcast Software, do not minimize the window or open another application.

When upgrading BlackBerry Pushcast Software 5.7 with another version of BlackBerry Pushcast Software 5.7, the loggingConfiguration.xml file is overwritten.
Impact: Users will not see any log files for content channels that were added before an update.
Workaround: Administrators can back up the loggingConfiguration.xml file before performing the upgrade and then replace the loggingConfiguration.xml file after the upgrade completes.

If an administrator installs the BlackBerry Pushcast Software on a Microsoft® SQL
Server® instance that another instance of the BlackBerry Pushcast Software uses, users cannot access the BlackBerry Pushcast Console.
Impact: Users cannot access the BlackBerry Pushcast Console.
Workaround: An administrator can install the BlackBerry Pushcast Player on a separate instance of Microsoft SQL
Server.

Impact: Users cannot retake a test or survey.

Framework 3.5 SP1 or later installed on the computer, the installation
stops and does not display an error message that informs the user that
Microsoft .NET
Framework 3.5 SP1 or later is required.
Impact: Users might not know why the installation
stopped.
Workaround: Install
Microsoft .NET
Framework 3.5 SP1 or later before installing the
BlackBerry Pushcast Software.

Impact: Time stamps in the

BlackBerry Enterprise Server synchronization service, if an administrator enters an
invalid port number for the connection to the
BlackBerry® Administration Service, the test result reports a successful connection.
Impact: The
BlackBerry Enterprise Server synchronization service will be unable to connect to the
BlackBerry Administration Service.
Workaround: Enter the correct port number for the
connection.

If the
Microsoft DTC
service is turned off on the database server and web server, users who are
added to the
BlackBerry Enterprise Server do not synchronize with the
BlackBerry Pushcast Console.
Impact: Users might not be added to the
BlackBerry Pushcast Console.
Workaround: Perform one of the following actions:
- If the
BlackBerry Pushcast Player Servers List IT policy installation is hosted, contact customer
support at http://us.blackberry.com/support/software/pushcasts.jsp.
- If the
BlackBerry Pushcast Software has been installed behind your organization's firewall, set up
the DTC service on the database server and web server, and then synchronize the
users with the
BlackBerry Pushcast Console.

While configuring the
BlackBerry Enterprise Server, the output path dialog prompts the user to select a
file to save the csv file, but is really expecting a path to a folder.
Impact: When the service is started, the csv file
selected will be considered as a folder instead of a file.
Workaround: Remove the filename from the path before
applying the settings.
