Process flow: Authoring and publishing content using the BlackBerry Pushcast Plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint

  1. You assign a role to the author that permits the author to create content in the BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Plug-in for Microsoft® PowerPoint® and that also permits the author to manage the content within the web-based authoring environment in the BlackBerry Pushcast Console.
  2. The author opens the BlackBerry Pushcast Plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint and signs in with a valid username and password.
  3. The BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Software authenticates and authorizes the author to publish content or to assign content to specific BlackBerry Pushcast Software users and groups.
  4. The author creates content using the BlackBerry Pushcast Plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint.
  5. The author publishes content to the BlackBerry Pushcast Console from the BlackBerry Pushcast Plug-in for Microsoft PowerPoint.
  6. The author views and changes the content as necessary within the web-based authoring environment in the BlackBerry Pushcast Console.
