Description

This rule specifies whether a web server is trusted and can communicate with the BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Player.

Default value

The default value is a null value.

Usage

You can specify a comma-separated (,) list of URLs for trusted web servers that you want to allow the BlackBerry Pushcast Player to communicate with. If the URLs for BlackBerry Pushcast servers are www.rim.com and www.blackberry.com specify www.rim.com,www.blackberry.com as the value. When a content channel from a trusted web server sends content to the BlackBerry Pushcast Player, the content channel displays on the Content Providers screen in the BlackBerry Pushcast Player. A BlackBerry Pushcast Player user cannot block a content channel from a trusted web server that is on the list of trusted web servers.

Minimum requirements

• Java® based BlackBerry® device
• BlackBerry® Enterprise Server 5.0 SP2 for Microsoft® Exchange or BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1 SP6 for Microsoft Exchange or later with the BlackBerry Pushcast Player IT policy rules for BlackBerry Enterprise Server that you downloaded from the BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Console.
• BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP2 for IBM® Lotus® Domino® or BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1 SP5 for IBM Lotus Domino or later with the BlackBerry Pushcast Player IT policy rules for BlackBerry Enterprise Server that you downloaded from the BlackBerry Pushcast Console.
