Users receive a password prompt while watching videos
Possible cause
The security timer for the password prompt on the BlackBerry® device is set to appear at regular intervals. The intervals are shorter than the length of the video.
Possible solution
- Log in to the BlackBerry® Administration Service.
- On the BlackBerry solution management menu, expand Policy.
- Perform one of the following actions:
- Select the IT policy that you want to change.
- At the bottom of the screen, select Edit IT Policy.
- At the top of the screen, select the Security policy group tab.
- At the bottom of the screen, change the value for the Allow Resetting of Idle Timer to Yes.
- At the bottom of the screen, click Save All.
