Create a shared network folder
Before you begin: You must create a shared network folder using the BlackBerry® Administration Service before you add any BlackBerry Java® Applications to the application repository.
- Create a folder on the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server.
- Right-click the folder, and click Properties.
- Click Sharing.
- Select the Share this folder option.
- In the Share name field, type Application Share.
- In the User limit section, select the Maximum allowed option.
- Click Apply.
- Click OK.
- Go to <drive> :\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Applications\ and delete the application folder.
- Select File > New Folder.
- In the folder name field, type BlackBerry Pushcast Player.
- Right-click the BlackBerry Pushcast Player folder.
- Click Properties.
- On the Sharing tab, click Share this folder.
- Click Permissions.
- To provide change and read permissions to the Everyone group, in the Allow column, select the Change check box and Read check box.
- Click OK.
- Click Apply.
