Creating phone number links |
Use a three-digit area code with parentheses ( ), dashes (-), or periods (.). The following are examples of three-digit area codes: Use a seven-digit number separated by a dash (-) or period, such as 555-0100 or 555.0100. Use an 11 to 13 digit number that is preceded by a plus (+) sign for international phone numbers that include a 1 to 3 digit country code, 3 digit area code, and 7 digit local number. You must separate the numbers using periods (.). The following are examples of phone numbers with plus signs and periods: |
