The Microsoft SQL Server could not retrieve the SSL certificate name

Possible cause

The Microsoft® SQL Server® cannot retrieve the name of the SSL certificate.

Possible solution

  1. Remove the SSL certificate from the default web site configuration.
  2. Install Microsoft® SQL Server® Express Edition with Advanced Services.
  3. Configure the default web site to use the SSL certificate again.
