Overview: Chalk Pushcast Software security

Your organization can send content to audiences to distribute information, communications, and training. This content is designed by authors for BlackBerry® devices using the Chalk™ Pushcast™ Software. Along with the increased demand for mobile content, organizations have security requirements that they consider when they evaluate mobile content solutions. Organizations want to know that the mobile content provider they select provides a security infrastructure that is designed to protect sensitive data so that information is not threatened by unauthorized users, theft, or misuse.

Security is a consideration during the design, development, and delivery of all Chalk Pushcast Software components and infrastructure. The Chalk Pushcast Software implements several highly secure mechanisms, such as RBAC, instance level access control, roles and permissions, RSA® digital signatures, and SSL security to protect the information that it stores on its servers and sends to the Chalk Pushcast Player on devices.
