Assign the software configuration to user accounts

  1. In the BlackBerry® Administration Service, in the BlackBerry solution management section, click User > Manage users.
  2. In the User criteria section, in the Display name field, type the display name for the user account. For example, the BlackBerry device model or the BlackBerry device user's email address.
  3. In the User name field, type the user's name.
  4. Click Search.
  5. Click Edit user.
  6. On the Software configuration tab, select the software configuration that you want to add for the user account.
  7. Click Save All.
  8. To verify that the application is ready to be sent to the BlackBerry device users, in the Devices section, click Devices > Deployment jobs > Manage deployment jobs.
  9. In the Job criteria section, perform one of the following tasks:

    Search for a job by date.

    Perform one of the following actions:
    1. In the Jobs created after section, select a date from the lists, or select a date using the calendar icon.
    2. In the Jobs created before section, select a date from the lists, or select a date from the calendar icon.

    Search for all jobs.

    Click Search.

  10. In the Status column, view the status of the job.
  11. To view or change the job schedule, creation date, status, event creator, or priority, in the Job ID column, click the ID number for the job.
