Before you can use the BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Software synchronization service, you must install the BlackBerry® Administration API for BlackBerry® Enterprise Server 5.0. A separate BlackBerry Administration API installation is not required for BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP1 and later because the BlackBerry Administration API is packaged with the BlackBerry Administration Service.
