Disposition options

You can use the disposition options in a software configuration to specify whether an application is optional, required, or not permitted on BlackBerry® devices. In the software configuration, you can create an application list that names all the applications that BlackBerry device users can install on their devices. When you create a software configuration, you can change the disposition to Disallowed for applications that are not in the application list. The Disallowed option permits users to install only the applications that you listed in the software configuration on their devices.

In the BlackBerry Administration Service, you can use disposition options to make an application required on devices or to prevent the users from installing applications that are untrusted or not listed in the applications list on their devices.
