The
Chalk Pushcast Software completion status incorrectly displays the percentage complete in
the Status of Started field in the
Chalk Pushcast Console.
Impact: Users cannot see the value for status of
started.
Workaround: None.

When installing
Chalk Pushcast Software 5.5 or later without
Microsoft® .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 or later installed on the computer, the installation
stops and does not display an error message that informs the user that
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 or later is required.
Impact: Users might not know why the installation
stopped.
Workaround: Install
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 or later before installing the
Chalk Pushcast Software.

If a
Chalk Pushcast Software user deletes content before all enrolled users receive the
content, the mobile initiator keeps the content in the queue but does not
deliver the content to the users.
Impact: The mobile initiator might delay future content
deliveries until the content delivery queue is empty.
Workaround: None.

A
Chalk Pushcast Software user might not be able to play a video on a device with an
Advanced Security SD card with content protection turned on for some devices.
Impact: The user might not be able to play content.
Workaround: None.

Impact: Time stamps in the
Chalk Pushcast Console might not display correctly.

While configuring the
BlackBerry Enterprise Server synchronization service, if an administrator enters an
invalid port number for the connection to the
BlackBerry® Administration Service, the test result reports a successful connection.
Impact: The
BlackBerry Enterprise Server synchronization service will be unable to connect to the
BlackBerry Administration Service.
Workaround: Enter the correct port number for the
connection.

If the
Microsoft DTC
service is turned off on the database server and web server, users who are
added to the
BlackBerry Enterprise Server do not synchronize with the
Chalk Pushcast Console.
Impact: Users might not be added to the
Chalk Pushcast Console.
Workaround: Perform one of the following actions:
- If the
Chalk Pushcast Player Servers List IT policy installation is hosted, contact customer
support at customersupport@chalk.com.
- If the
Chalk Pushcast Software has been installed behind your organization's firewall, set up
the DTC service on the database server and web server, and then synchronize the
users with the
Chalk Pushcast Console.

While configuring the
BlackBerry Enterprise Server, the output path dialog prompts the user to select a
file to save the csv file, but is really expecting a path to a folder.
Impact: When the service is started, the csv file
selected will be considered as a folder instead of a file.
Workaround: Remove the filename from the path before
applying the settings.

While in their user accounts, administrators might not be able
to generate reports and enroll themselves in content in the
Chalk Pushcast Software.
Impact: Administrators might not be able to manage
their account.
Workaround: Administrators must log in to the
Chalk Pushcast Software with an alternate account that has permissions to manage groups.
