Run the sample application

  1. In Eclipse®, right-click the LocationPickerDemo project.
  2. Click Run As > BlackBerry Simulator.
  3. On the Home screen of the BlackBerry® Smartphone Simulator, click the Downloads folder.
  4. Click the Location Picker Demo icon.

Install the sample application

  1. In the BlackBerry® Java® Development Environment, open the workspace that you want to add the sample application to.
  2. In the Files pane, right-click <workspace_name>.
  3. Click Add project to <workspace_name>.
  4. In the Add project to <workspace_name> dialog box, browse to the locationpickerdemo folder. The default location of this folder is C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 5.0.0\samples\com\rim\samples\device\ui\locationpickerdemo.
  5. Click the LocationPickerDemo.jdp file.
  6. Click Open.
