BlackBerry® Attachment Service accede a BlackBerry Configuration Database per consultare i dati degli allegati tramite un account Windows® o un account di autenticazione SQL. Per limitare l'accesso da parte dell'account BlackBerry Attachment Service alle tabelle presenti in BlackBerry Configuration Database, è possibile configurare un account BlackBerry Attachment Service in modo che disponga di autorizzazioni database limitate. Tale account non è identico a quello utilizzato da BlackBerry® Enterprise Server Express per accedere a BlackBerry Configuration Database.

1. Nella console di gestione di Microsoft® SQL Server®, creare un accesso SQL per l'account Windows o per l'account di autenticazione SQL.
2. Assegnare l'account al ruolo rim_db_AttachmentServer in BlackBerry Configuration Database.
3. Se si desidera che BlackBerry Attachment Service utilizzi un account di autenticazione SQL per accedere a BlackBerry Configuration Database, eseguire le seguenti operazioni:
   1. Sul computer su cui è stato installato BlackBerry Attachment Service, effettuare l'accesso tramite l'account Windows su cui è in esecuzione BlackBerry Attachment Service.
   2. Fare clic su Start > Esegui.
   3. Tipo regedit. Fare clic su OK.
   4. Se si esegue una versione a 32 bit di Windows, accedere a HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Research In Motion.
   5. Se si esegue una versione a 64 bit di Windows, accedere a HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Research In Motion.
   6. Creare le chiavi BBAttachServer\Database.
   7. Nella chiave Database, creare i valori stringa Accesso e Password per l'account di autenticazione SQL.

Al termine: Al termine del processo di installazione di BlackBerry Attachment Service, in Windows Services, verificare che il servizio per BlackBerry Attachment Service utilizzi l'account Windows che è stato configurato. Se si rende necessario modificare le informazioni sull'account, riavviare BlackBerry Attachment Service.
