Exporting the security information files

When you install or upgrade the BlackBerry Mobile Voice System, you are asked to enter a Security Information Password and either generate or load security information files. The Security Information Password and security information files must be the same for all BlackBerry MVS instances in the BlackBerry Domain.

When you are installing or upgrading the BlackBerry MVS on more than one computer, you must load the security information files from the first computer onto all subsequent computers. You are prompted to do this when you install or upgrade the BlackBerry MVS. To make the security information files available, copy them from the first computer to a shared folder.
