Port numbers for
BlackBerry MVS components

The port numbers in the diagram are the default port numbers. Your
organization can use different port numbers for some of the ports.
The
BlackBerry Mobile Voice System
has specific requirements for port numbers of the gateway. Before you install the
BlackBerry MVS, you should verify that the
appropriate port numbers are open and available through the firewall of the
local server or the firewall of the network infrastructure. If the
BlackBerry MVS software is installed on the
computer that hosts the
BlackBerry Enterprise Server,
you should consider configuring your organization's firewall to block outside
access to any listening port number that does not require outside access.
