Format links for the BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Player.

To make the link appear interactive, use color for the text and underline the link.

Create phone number links for the BlackBerry Pushcast Player.

Use a three-digit area code with parentheses "( )", dashes (-), or periods (.). The following are examples of three-digit area codes:

  • (519) 555-0100
  • 519-555-0100
  • (519) 555.0100
  • (519).555.0100
  • 519.555.0100

Use a seven-digit number separated by a dash or period (for example, 555-0100 or 555.0100).

Use an 11 to 13-digit number that is preceded by a plus sign (+) for international phone numbers that include a 1 to 3-digit country code, 3-digit area code, and 7-digit local phone number. You must separate the numbers using periods. The following are examples of phone numbers with plus signs and periods:

  • +1.519.555.0199
  • +01.519.555.0199
  • +055.519.555.0199

Create email address links for the BlackBerry Pushcast Player.

Verify that the email addresses in content contain the at symbol (@) and a period (for example, westlee.barichak@rim.com).

Create website links for the BlackBerry Pushcast Player.

Make sure that links begin with http://, https://, or www. The following are examples of website links:
  • http://blackberry.com
  • https://blackberry.com
  • www.blackberry.com
