You can create a software configuration and add the BlackBerry® Pushcast™ Player to the software configuration.

1. In the BlackBerry Administration Service, in the BlackBerry solution management section, click Software > Create a software configuration.
2. Perform any of the following actions:
   • In the Name field, type a name for the software configuration that includes the appropriate application. For example, BlackBerry Pushcast Player.
   • In the Disposition for unlisted applications list, click an option.
   • In the Description field, type a description for the software configuration.
   • Click Save.
3. On the BlackBerry solution management menu, click Software > Manage software configurations.
4. Click on the software configuration that you created for the BlackBerry Pushcast Player.
5. Click Edit software configuration.
6. On the Applications tab, click Add applications to software configuration.
7. To search for an application that you want to add to the software configuration, perform one of the following actions:
   • In the Application criteria section, in the Name field, type the name of an application.
   • Click Search.
8. Select the check box beside an application.
9. In the Disposition list, perform one of the following actions:
   • To permit users to install applications that are not included in the software configuration on their BlackBerry devices, click Optional.
   • To prevent users from installing applications that are not included in the software configuration on their devices, click Disallowed.
   • To prevent users from removing applications that are included in the software configuration from their devices, click Required.
10. To install the application, perform one of the following tasks:

    Task	Steps
    Install an application on devices over the wireless network.	In the Deployment list, click Wireless.
    Install an application on devices using the BlackBerry® Desktop Manager or BlackBerry® Web Desktop Manager on a computer that you connected to the device using a USB connection.	In the Deployment list, click Wired.

11. Click Save All.
