Delivery statuses for mobile content

When you send content to a Chalk™ Pushcast™ Player user, the Chalk Pushcast Console keeps track of whether the content was delivered to the Chalk Pushcast Player on the BlackBerry® device. If the user did not receive the content in the Chalk Pushcast Player, you can view the status of the content in the Chalk Pushcast Console to determine why the content did not send correctly. There are several delivery statuses that you can view in the Mobile Content Delivery Status Report.

Delivery status type

Description

Pending Delivery

The delivery queue received the content delivery request. The content is in the queue until the Chalk Pushcast connector retrieves it.

Pending Delivery — No Player

The Chalk™ Pushcast™ Software user did not install the Chalk Pushcast Player on the BlackBerry device or synchronize with Chalk Pushcast Software after the user installed the Chalk Pushcast Player.

User Account Suspended

The Chalk Pushcast Software locked out the user and the delivery queue is holding the content until an administrator activates the user account again.

User Account Deleted

The user account no longer exists in the Chalk Pushcast Software. The Chalk Pushcast Software cannot send any outstanding requests that remain in the delivery queue for the user account to the device.

Content Delivery Disabled

The Chalk Pushcast Software cannot send content to the device or store the content in the Chalk Pushcast Player cache.

Delivery in Progress

The delivery queue sent the content to the Chalk Pushcast connector. The delivery queue sends content to the Chalk Pushcast connector before the Chalk Pushcast Software user receives the content on the device.

User Not Found

The Chalk Pushcast Software tried to send the content manifest to the device. The BlackBerry® Enterprise Server could not locate the user account. This delivery status can occur because an invalid PIN or incorrect PIN is associated with the user account.

Authentication Failure

The Chalk Pushcast Software tried to retrieve a content manifest but the authentication request failed. An authentication request can fail when an email address that is associated with a BlackBerry device is not associated with a user account in the Chalk Pushcast Software.

Manifest Sent to Device

The Chalk Pushcast Software sent the content manifest to the BlackBerry device.

Failed to Deliver Manifest

The device did not receive the content manifest. This might occur because the Chalk Pushcast Software could not find a URL or could not send the content manifest in an email message.

Manifest Received by Player

The Chalk Pushcast Player received the content manifest and the Chalk Pushcast Software sent the content to the Chalk Pushcast Player cache.

Partially Delivered

The Chalk Pushcast Player received the content manifest; however, the Chalk Pushcast Software only saved some of the content in the Chalk Pushcast Player cache.

Failed to Deliver Content

An error occurred during the delivery of the content. The content did not deliver to the Chalk Pushcast Player or save in the Chalk Pushcast Player cache. The user cannot view the content for the first time while the user is offline. However, the user can view the content when the user connects the BlackBerry device to a wireless network.

Communication errors between the Chalk Pushcast Software and the BlackBerry Enterprise Server occurred or the Chalk Pushcast Software received an unrecognized response from the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

Enrollment Cancelled

The user unenrolled from the content before the content delivery was complete.

Content Package Deleted

The Chalk Pushcast Software removed the content before the scheduled delivery time.

Delivery Cancelled

The content delivery method was turned off before the delivery occurred. The user can view the content when the user connects the BlackBerry device to a wireless network.

The Chalk Pushcast Player received the content manifest; however, some of the content did not deliver to the Chalk Pushcast Player cache. The user account reached the bandwidth quota before the Chalk Pushcast Software could deliver the content.

Failed to Deliver Content — Bandwidth Quota Exceeded

The Chalk Pushcast Software could not deliver the content to the Chalk Pushcast Player or store the content in the Chalk Pushcast Player cache because the user account reached the bandwidth quota.

Content Requests Blocked

The Chalk Pushcast Software could not deliver the content to the device because the user blocked content from the content provider.

Delivery Suspended — Device Roaming

The BlackBerry device received the content manifest. However, the device cannot receive any digital assets because the device is roaming, and you turned on the Roaming IT policy rule.
