Change information about a Chalk Pushcast Software user

You can change a Chalk™ Pushcast™ Software user's name, email address, role, group, or the delivery method that you use to send content to the user using the Chalk Pushcast Software.

  1. In the Chalk Pushcast Console, click Users.
  2. In the Name column, click a user name.
  3. Perform one of the following tasks:

    Change a user's login information, role, delivery method that you use to send content to the user, or the BlackBerry® device that is associated with the user account.

    1. Click Edit Details.
    2. Change the appropriate information.
    3. Click Save.

    Change the password for the user.

    1. Click Edit Details.
    2. Select the Reset Password check box.
    3. In the Enter New Password field, type a new password for the user.
    4. In the Confirm New Password field, type the password again.

    After you configure the password, the user receives a notification email message.

    Change the groups that the user belongs to.

    1. Click Edit Groups.
    2. To remove a user from a group, in the Selected area, click a group.
    3. Click Save.

    Change the IT policy settings for the user.

    1. Click Edit Policies.
    2. Change the IT policy settings.
    3. Click Save.

    Suspend the user from using the Chalk Pushcast Software.

    1. Click Edit Details.
    2. Clear the Active check box. A user that you suspend cannot log on to the Chalk Pushcast Software.
