Setting up the sample application in the BlackBerry JDE

Install the sample application

  1. In the BlackBerry® Java® Development Environment, open the workspace that you want to add the sample application to.
  2. In workspace tree, the right-click the <workspace> icon.
  3. Click Add project to <workspace>.
  4. In the Add project to <workspace> dialog box, browse to the mediakeysdemomidlet folder. The default location of the folder is C:\Program Files\BlackBerry JDE 5.0.0\samples\com\rim\samples\device\mediakeysdemo\mediakeysdemomidlet.
  5. Click the MediaKeysDemoMIDlet.jdp file.
  6. Click Open.
