Types of information found in the BlackBerry MVS log files

The components of the BlackBerry Mobile Voice System log different types of information, which you can use to troubleshoot issues.

MVSC

Records changes that the administrator makes to the BlackBerry MVS Server in the MVS Console and any changes that the end user makes to the BlackBerry MVS Client.

MVS FMC Phone

BBSM

Records information about the call activity of BlackBerry device users who are using the BlackBerry MVS Client.

MVS Data Manager

MVSD

Records information about BlackBerry MVS Client data connection and provisioning.

MVS BlackBerry Enterprise Server Connector

MVSB

Records information from the BlackBerry Dispatcher, such as provisioning, subscription, and call signaling between the BlackBerry MVS Client and the MVS Session Manager that is sent over the wireless data network or WLAN.

MVS Witness Server

MVSW

Records information about failover activity, and the health scores of the MVS BlackBerry Enterprise Server Connector and MVS Session Manager services.

MVS Session Manager

MSDP

Records information about the MVS Session Manager and MVS Event Manager.

MVS Session Manager (common)

MSMC

Records information about the BlackBerry MVS components.

MVS Event Manager

TESS

Records events from BlackBerry MVS components and the BlackBerry MVS Client.

MVS Event Manager Event Log

MVSE

Records events that the MVS Event Manager receives.
