When you suspend high availability for one BlackBerry MVS Server in a high availability pair, BlackBerry Mobile Voice System users are moved to the other BlackBerry MVS Server. Standby redundancy is no longer available but the high availability pair remains intact in the BlackBerry MVS configuration. When you return the suspended BlackBerry MVS Server to service, high availability is restored automatically provided that the instance name and IP address of the BlackBerry MVS Server have not been changed.

1. In the MVS Console, in the left pane under Servers and Components, click High Availability.
2. For the BlackBerry MVS Server that you want to suspend, click Change status to Offline.
3. Click OK.
