I need to generate a log file for a support representative

A support representative might ask you to send log files and other information to help troubleshoot a problem you are experiencing.

  1. On your computer, open BlackBerry Link.
  2. On the side of the screen, click your computer.
  3. At the stop of the screen, click Preferences.
  4. Click Creating Log Files > Create Log.
  5. Click The Change Folder icon to browse to the location the log file is saved on your computer.
  6. Email the log file to your support representative.
