Import your contacts from Mac Address Book
You can import the contacts from your Mac Address Book to your BlackBerry device running BlackBerry 10 OS or later. This import is a one-way transfer of data from your computer to your device. You might be prompted to import your contacts and contact groups the first time you set up your device in BlackBerry Link, but if not, you can complete the import later.
If you want to import the contacts from Microsoft Outlook on your Mac you can first turn on Sync Services to sync your Microsoft Outlook contacts with your Mac Address Book. With devices running BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.1, you can perform a 2-way sync of your contacts.
It is important to know that every time you import this data from your computer, the most up-to-date data on your computer replaces what is currently on the device. Contacts on your device won’t remain synced with contacts on your computer.
- On your computer, open BlackBerry Link.
- Connect your BlackBerry device to your computer with a USB cable.
- In BlackBerry Link, click the icon.
- Click Import Contacts.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to transfer your contacts to your device.
