Manually sync your pictures, videos, and documents

By default, BlackBerry Link automatically syncs new pictures, videos, and documents between your computer and your BlackBerry device. If you turn off automatic sync, or you want to sync pictures, videos, and documents that were on your computer or device before you set up BlackBerry Link, you can manually sync your files.

You can sync individual pictures, videos, documents, or collections of files.

  1. On your computer, open BlackBerry Link.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To sync files from your computer to your device, at the bottom of the screen, click your computer.
    • To sync files from your device to your computer, at the bottom of the screen, click your device.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To sync one or more of your pictures, click Pictures.
    • To sync one or more of your videos, click Videos.
    • To sync one or more of your documents, click Documents.
  4. Do any of the following:
    • To sync an individual picture, video, or document, drag a file to your computer or your device at the bottom of the screen.
    • To sync all of your pictures, videos, or documents, drag All pictures, All videos, or All documents to your computer or your device at the bottom of the screen.
    • To sync a folder or collection of your pictures, videos, or documents, click the Arrow beside your library and drag the folder or collection to your computer or your device at the bottom of the screen.
Tip: To sync your pictures, videos, and documents, you can also right-click an individual file or a folder. Click Sync to and select your computer or your device.
After you finish: To return to the main Content view, click the Content View icon.
