Downloading and buying items in BlackBerry World using a computer
Download or buy items for your BlackBerry 10 device
When you download or buy apps, games, music, or videos in the BlackBerry World storefront
using your computer, you receive a notification in BlackBerry World on your BlackBerry 10
device.
- Below an app, a game, a song, an album, or a video, click Download or Buy.
- To purchase items, complete the instructions on the screen.
After a moment, the item is downloaded automatically to your device. The item can
be found on the My World screen in the BlackBerry World storefront
on your device.
Download or buy items for your BlackBerry device
When you download or buy apps and games for your BlackBerry device
running BlackBerry 7.1 or earlier, you might be prompted to install a browser plug-in on your computer. To
install the browser plug-in, complete the instructions on the screen.
- Below an app or game, click Download or Buy.
- To purchase items, complete the instructions on the screen.
- Click Sync.
Rent a video for your BlackBerry 10 device
Some videos are available to rent from the BlackBerry World storefront. When you download a rented video, you have 30 days to
start watching it before the rented video expires. Once you start watching it, depending
on the video, you have 24 to 48 hours to finish watching it before the rented video
expires.
- Below a video, click Rent.
- Complete the instructions on the screen.
