Using Browser tabs

Just like on your computer’s browser, you can open multiple webpages in tabs and switch between the tabs quickly.

Open a new tab

  1. In the Browser, tap Tabs, Bookmarks, and History.
  2. Tap Add New Tab.
Tip: Close a tab when you're finished with it to improve the performance of your browser.

Switch between tabs

  1. In the Browser, tap Tabs, Bookmarks, and History.
  2. Tap a tab.

Close a tab

  1. In the Browser, tap Tabs, Bookmarks, and History.
  2. Beside the tab that you want to close, tap Close Tab.

Open a link in a new tab

  1. In the Browser, touch and hold a link.
  2. Tap Open Link in New Tab.
