Add a BBM contact

You can add contacts to BBM by scanning their BBM barcodes. You can also add contacts by typing someone's contact information, by selecting an existing BlackBerry contact, or by using NFC technology.

  1. Tap More actions > Invite to BBM.
  2. At the bottom of the screen, tap Scan to Invite.
  3. Follow the directions on the screen.

Add a contact by typing

  1. Type in the field or tap Select Contacts to find a contact in your address book.
  2. Tap Send.

Show your BBM barcode

Tap your picture or display name.
To copy your PIN, touch and hold the barcode. Tap Copy PIN.

View pending BBM invitations

Tap More tabs > Invites.
To cancel an invitation that you sent, tap Sent. Touch and hold an invitation. Tap Delete Invitation.
