Change your Voice Control language

  1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
  2. Tap SettingsSettings > Voice Control.
  3. In the Language drop-down list, tap a language.

Change the voice recognition mode

The Voice Control app has two voice recognition modes. When you choose Voice Dialing Only, you can use the Voice Control app in more languages, but you will be unable to use many features, such as searching your BlackBerry device and the Internet, booking appointments, and sending messages. When you choose Voice Recognition, you can use all of the features that the Voice Control app supports.
  1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
  2. Tap SettingsSettings > Voice Control.
  3. In the Voice recognition mode drop-down list, tap Voice Dialing Only or Voice Recognition.
