I need to generate a log file for a support representative

A support representative might ask you to send log files and other information to help troubleshoot a problem you are experiencing.

  1. On your computer, open BlackBerry Link.
  2. At the bottom of the screen, click your device.
  3. Click the Settings icon.
  4. In the Settings view, click Log Files > Create Log File. The location and file name for the log files are displayed at the top of the screen.
  5. Email the log file to your support representative.
