My display picture isn't animating

If your display picture isn't animating in BlackBerry Messenger, try moving your cursor over it. If the display picture doesn't animate after a few seconds, try any of the following:

• Verify that the Show Animated Display Pictures checkbox is selected in your BBM options.
• Verify that you're using a .gif file that is not larger than 32 KB.
• Verify that the picture is square (the height and width, in pixels, are the same).

If necessary, you can try editing the file using a computer to adjust the size or dimensions.
